Gateways give unprecedented openness to Colombiamoda 2011

Colombiamoda gateways make visible the potential and creativity of the country and the world, on a platform that falls short of the shows highlights from the major cities of fashion, both in content and in their montage. It is the opportunity to live a unique experience, filled with stories, colors and dreams in the fashion week in Colombia.

Gateway Koleston, by Amulette

The persevering and disciplined designer Johanna Isaac showed his Amulette lingerie brand, known for its femininity and sophistication through seduction. These garments are the most exquisite charm conquest of a woman, therefore, are flavored, full of light and materials such as lace, cottons, silks and French microfibers. To brighten up the collection, Wella Koleston presented looks that express the power of sensuality.

Gateway Infashion-Blancox, by Winged John and Little Lucia

Winged: Mark made two years ago by designers and Andres Restrepo Alejandro González. She presented her casual clothes, with the balance between design, art and the market. They were winners of the Seventh Plan Competition Business Culture E, given by the Mayor of Medellin.

For this edition the gateway's entourage consisted of fresh minds of 16 students and 16 Bogota Pereira, who through their creations contribute to a more conscious quality of life. The collection "Fashion of course alive and conscious," was inspired by the potential that nature provides to take advantage respectfully, carrying messages of cultures with their traditions and history.

This Spanish multinational clothing presented his collection at night, focusing on a miscellany of raw white and gold.The contrast between the play of masculine and feminine, always chic, provides the impeccable tailoring parts where the black is still on special occasions. They are sophisticated pieces that get mixed classical elements with sportswear.

For this collection Fall-Winter 2011, Studio F proposed a sophisticated and glamorous woman in the 3 concepts Ecosalvaje, Kaleidoscope and Illusion.

Ecosalvaje, takes the evolution of being and survival in a changing world with animal print patterns, influence and inspiration apache in archaeological remains which give a touch to mark the style in fabrics like viscose and cotton.Imposing the color orange and gold, Letino, buttons, feathers, fringe and beading adorned all the silhouettes.

Kaleidoscope is the inspiration with a technique that envisages protagonists psychedelic prints in rounded shapes, stars and color, creating a dynamic discord between these elements evoking the hottest clubs in NY in the 70's, the hippie chic glamorous platforms, clogs, bell boots, glitter, maxigafas, marked waist, maxivestidos thongs, one piece, Palazzo, printed transparent, wide-brimmed hats, turbans, scarves, bags, cross grades, tassels and lavish gold decorations that make a real woman queen of the disco. E illusion, an encounter between fantasy and everyday life.

Pasarela El Tiempo, by Carlos Valenzuela & Daniel Hoyos
This was a gateway Alfa Romeo, where a rebel who falls for Laura, a girl from the city. What is? A love of madness, with unbridled passion. It was a parade like no other. Meanwhile, Carlos Valenzuela developed a collection based on the atmosphere of the locker room sports like cricket, motor racing and golf, picking up plastic and aesthetic elements of these practices, and Daniel Hoyos worked with towels, hangers, silk and dark indigo as the basis for everything. The silhouettes are wide and the graphs represent the love of these two rebels helmets, gloves and glasses as fundamental elements.

Lina Cantillo Gateway
Barranquilla designer specializing in menswear, Rome presented his collection, inspired by the history of the villages, where the ambitious and great conquerors built the present. The garments are made entirely of recycled materials, the garb of the Senate are the robes, the elements used by the gladiators and deconstructed pieces of the time.

Gateway Copa Airlines, by Pepa Pombo / Monica Holguin
With over 30 years of history and originality, Pepa Pombo is distinguished nationally and internationally for its fibers created, developed and patented. Colombian designer made an unprecedented bridge with his daughter Monica Holguin, very colorful, with six different natural fibers, reaching three generations: grandmother, mother and teenage daughter. The raw material contains certified materials that do not harm the planet.

YOUNG CREATORS IXELMODA
Once again we want to mention the young artists who Chocolyne's hand shows his academic work at the gateways of the different events in Colombia. As part of 2011 in Cartagena Ixel Fashion students clothes of the UPB, Medellin and UTS, Bucaramanga presented their proposals.

We like to exercise walkway is open to students of fashion and clothing because it gives them the opportunity to experiment, to learn, to evolve and learn. It is also a nursery, a laboratory that is growing invitro passion and talent.

This time the UPB invites students to create a mini collections inspired by the fire in the native and national identity. Hence the color palette for all jobs over yellow to orange and had inspirations like thermal floors, traditional weaving tradition to popular culture imagery of Colombia.
